Meeting the Prince, an independent Charmed/Kindred:The Embraced/Jossverse crossover has been posted to AO3 and to [livejournal.com profile] hiddenrealms.

This story was usually planned to be a chapter of "Charmed into Darkness" - a rather long and complicated vampire crossover AU over which I've been procrastinating since 2007. I kid you not! However, in the meantime the whole concept has been changed fundamentally, so that this part, in its current form, wouldn't fit the rest. Since I quite like it, though, I decided to post it as an independent little ficlet. Enjoy!

So, folks, I've managed to type up the first chapter of "A Stitch in Time", the sequel to "A Matter of Time". Right now, it's only posted to [livejournal.com profile] otherworlds_lib, as I didn't want to break the updates to "Magic Mirror" on AO3, but I thought I'd make it available to Torchwood and Star Trek - Enterprise fans, in the perhaps naive hope that someone would be actually interested.

For those who might be interested, a quick peak into a future chapter.

Spoiler alert! )

For those not familiar with either Star Trek or Babylon 5 (or both), the joke is in the fact that both Pavel Chekov and Alfred Bester were played by actor Walter Koenig - with a decade or two in-between, of course. *g*

Just a short scene - well, two short scenes - from Chapter 25 of Kansas 2, the Babylon 5/Star Trek Voyager crossover I'm currently working on. If you aren't interested in those fandoms or in my scribblings, feel free to ignore everything behind the tag.

Comments disabled because that makes it easier for me to deal with their nonexistence.

Those who are interested can read the first scene of Chapter 21 of Kansas 2 - The Yellow Brick Road behind the tag. Featuring Galen (from B5/Crusade) and Seven of Nine (ST:Voyager).
Have fun and tell me what you think!

Her regeneration cycle finished for the day... )

For those unfamiliar with the shows I added a few visuals in the comments.

After a hiatus of several years, I finally updated Kansas 2 - The Yellow Brick Road.
The new chapter can be read here.

This is a Babylon 5/Star Trek Voyager crossover, the middle part of a trilogy. I'm currently posting the first part, Still Not in Kansas, to AO3, one chapter a day. The entire story is posted to FF.Net, but I'm doing a tiny bit of rewriting - mostly cosmetic stuff - to it while posting it to AO3, so reading it there would be probably better.

"Kansas 2" is planned out to minute detail to its end; supposedly 54 chapters, unless it spawns more along the way. For the first time in 10 years, I'm actually hoping that I'll be able to finish it within reasonable time. But again, I've hoped such things before and it didn't happen.

In case anyone is interested, I've started posting my old story Still Not in Kansas - a Babylon 5/Star Trek Voyager crossover - to AO3. This is part of my effort to transfer copies of all my work to that archive, and also a chance to read through them again and weed out any possible remaining mistakes.

It's way too hot for anything like that. My apologies for the long absence, but temperatures went up to 40°C and I wasn't capable of much.

I did a bit of writing, posted the first couple of parts of my new Primeval/Sherlock/Torchwood crossover to [livejournal.com profile] otherworlds_lib, put up the last finished chapter of The Immunity Syndrome, my latest canon-compliant TNG story, to AO3 and FF.Net, and watched a lot of athletics. We even earned two medals, which is about as much as Hungary ever achieved on an athletics world championship, so we are proud.

To those who're still around and willing to read weird sci-fi crossovers, title suggestions to the new story are welcome. It's unusual for me to start a story without a title, but this time I just can't come up with a good one. The story takes place during Series 4 and 5 of Primeval, as a 'what if', with Jack, Tosh and Ianto being present and interacting with the ARC team. Owen is a zombie, but CoE never happened, and "Exit Wounds" ended differently.

Aka: A new story was really the last thing I needed.

Yesterday I indulged in a Primeval marathon, watching half of Series 4 in one go. Mostly because I wanted to see whether the German distributors were really idiotic enough to bring out Series 5 as the 2nd part of Series 4 before I would start hunting down Series 5. It turns out, they were. Why they did it is beyond me, but at least I can rest assured that I really have the entire series.

And then I sat down and typed up the 3-page-start of a new Primeval/Torchwood/Sherlock crossover, in which Mycroft Holmes is James Lester's superior, Tosh and Owen are still alive, Matt Anderson (the last team leader of Primeval) is a Time Agent, like Jack Harkness, and Ianto goes undercover within the ARC to find out what Philip Burton (Alexander Siddig's character) is up to.

There is a bit more to it, like the Rift having temporarily closed up, Andy Dadvidson and Mickey Smith being hired as field agents and Gwen being pregnant, but these are the basic settings. This morning I worked out a rough plot, decided which canon events from Primeval can be kept and which ones have to be changed and how the TW3 gang (well, Jack, Ianto and Tosh) can fit in with the ARC without blowing their cover.

Yes, I'm officially insane, I know.

I had an industrious morning. I've typed up the news stuff to Enterprise as well as the one-shot prequel to Prophecy & Change.

The latter one is called "Second Chances" and has been posted to FF.Net, to the [livejournal.com profile] otherworlds_lib comm and to AO3, in case anyone is interested.

I assume some of you know A Matter of Time, my ST Enterprise/Whoniverse crossover story. It is one of my more popular ones, even with positive reviews.

However, this wasn't the original idea. The original idea was "Enterprise - The Maiden Voyage", of which four and a half chapters already exist, only that they haven't been posted anywhere yet... mostly because I didn't know where to go with it and how to make it different from both the canon pilot and from "A Matter of Time".

The new chapter is posted to [livejournal.com profile] hiddenrealms.
Warning: this part has mild BDSM, vampires, guy-on-guy action (mentioned) and general cruelty. Read it at your own discretion.

Adults only, please!

And it only took me six years! Go me!

Seriously, I've just posted Chapter 23B - Interlude of The Toreador Chronicles to both FF.Net and the [livejournal.com profile] hiddenrealms LJ comm. I'm very pleased that after six years, the story finally moved on from its dead spot.

Warning: The story is Adult-only, as it contains slash and violence, so don't read it if you aren't interested in that kind of stuff.

Chapter 05 - The King is Dead, Long Live the Queen! has been posted to FF.Net. It is the chapter featuring Morgan's coronation, which turns out rather differently than in the final chapter of Camelot. Because I actually preferred Camelot's Morgan to their horrible, snot-nosed brat of Arthur.

Enjoy!

Chapter 04 - The Sorcerer's Ill Fortune has been posted to FF.Net.

In which older!Merlin learns that introducing himself as the court sorcerer isn't the best idea if someone is in BBC's Camelot. ;)

Enjoy!
wiseheart: (Merlin magic)
Chapter 03 - At Bardon Pass has been posted to FF.Net. The story now has officially thrice as many chapters as reviews. I think it's a new kind of record.

Have fun anyway!

Chapter 02 - Leontes's Awakening has been posted to FF.Net.

Enjoy!

I've decided to start posting my Merlin BBC/Camelot crossover, Magic Mirror to FF.Net. The first chapter is up, and I'm waiting a bit anxiously for reactions.

The [livejournal.com profile] picowrimo crowd might find certain paragraphs familiar, as I've already shared them during one of the pico sessions. I hope you'll like the full version, folks, and if you find the urge to drop a few lines of loving support, don't hold back. *hint, hint*

Chapter 14 - Conversational Klingon has been posted to FF.Net.

In which they finish the first part of their mission, visit the Klingon homeworld and gain a new Science Officer. This story is now complete, but there will be numerous sequels later... or so I hope. Give the muse nice treats and she might cooperate sooner rather than later. ;)
wiseheart: (Federation)
Chapter 13 - The Coming Out of Jones, Ianto Jones has been posted to FF.Net.

In which the senior officers of Enterprise learn a few shocking facts and Ianto spills some private bones to Captain Archer.

Enjoy!
