A (mostly) wasted day

Not how I had planned to spend my time today. But, as you know, the best laid plans of meeces and men (winks at badly_knitted) can go astray. And they certainly did today.

Needless to say that I was in no shape for any crafting to be done. Fortunately, Mum had volunteered to cook in advance (which is why I had to start the day at LIDl - we hadn't had any Vienna sausages at home, which she cuts in slices for the potato goulash), so I was spared the kitchen duty. I watched some telly, did some crossword puzzles and am not planning to do much more for the rest of the day.
