I can barely believe it: Face of the Enemy has actually won in the category Best story focusing on Men! That's a first! Thanks to everyone who nominated one of my stories and voted for them!

Oh, and Finch won, too! Congrats, Finch!
And also congrats to wild_iris who did well in multiple categories.

I think I'll get drunk now or something like that.

Thank you! It came at a strategically placed moment. I was very close to turn my back on writing Tolkienfic ever again. But after this, the muse simply emerged from being clinically dead and is now poking me again. :)

Yep, she insists that I finally do something about The Shoemaker's Daughter, the lengthy prequel to Shadows of the Past. (Remember that story? It had a great beta...) I've researched the story idea to death a year or so ago and have almost given up on it, but now I feel like writing about the common people of Gondor again.
