This is a cross-post, so I apologize to everyone who gets to read it repeatedly.

The Tolkien Quiz Game will start on edhellondawards on May 1.

Since we realized that there won't be any Edhellond Awards in the foreseeable future - unless we gain some very enthusiastic new members with an awful *lot* of spare time - I sought a new purpose for the community.

The quiz will basically contain a number of Tolkien-related questions (10 or 12), posted every Monday to the community. People will have a week to seek out answers and post them in their comments - or not, whatever is their pleasure. It's not a contest, and the only things you can win are some harmless fun and perhaps the one or other trivia that was unknown to you before.

I'll post the answers - together with the new bunch of questions - on the next Monday, hopefully every week. We'll be playing this game for a year or even longer, so it's never late to join.

Everyone is welcome to try their luck.
