lhun_dweller. Since Hungarian postal service doesn't deliver anything bigger than a matchbox to anyone's house, I had to go to the post office and fetch it.
Well, at least they hadn't thrown the alert notice into someone else's post box, which is a positive development, I guess. Poorithilwen and archet had both gotten back their lovely prezzies because of postal service idiocy a few years ago and had to re-send it. Yeah, we do live here under a rock when it comes to service... how have you guessed?

BTW, does anyone have an idea what this new pingback feature is supposed to be and whether we should turn it off???

Userpic dilemma - happily solved
Dec. 13th, 2007 06:20 pmLJ has reminded me that my extra usepics add-on will expire in 12 days. Currently, I've got 18 userpics. I'm not sure how many are allowed for a basic account, but I think 12 perhaps?
Now, which ones should I delete? I like them all well enough. I didn't really use any extra features a paid account could give me, but the extra userpics... them I'm gonna miss.
Gildor has to stay, of course, and the teddy bear, and at least a few sci-fi related ones. And the Benedictine symbol. But which one to delete?
Edit: I've just had an early Christmas! Many, many heartfelt thanks to the anonymous benefactor who's gifted another 12 months of paid account and extra userpics upon me. Now, I can keep all the cuties, and even add some more.
Whoever you are, happy Xmas time to you, too, and you can always request a story from me, assumed it's in a fandom I'm vaguely familiar with.
