We survived the German competition. My kids didn't win anything, but I haven't expected it either, so it's okay. I'm still mad about last year, though, when Agnes should have wiped the whole field by right. Ah, well.

I think Ithilwen's right: ff.net has finally broken down. First it mailed me one of my lost reviews (thanks, Finch, muchly appreciated) four times, then it vanished completely. All I get is an error message. *sobs* But I want my Precioussesss!

Edit: I've just got mailed another review, also four times. From Tehta, whom I don't know, but bless her name anyway (assuming she is a she). S/he mentions the Dragon-helm, too. *g* Now I'm waiting for the quadralupe Vorondis and Larian reviews to arrive, hehehe.

Have finally typed up Ch 1 of the new Andrahar story and a page and a half of the second chapter. There isn't any more of it right now. And I wrote a whole paragraph to the second chapter of the Narvi-story. How creative of me.

Other than that, I've started to re-watch Babylon. I must admit, as much as I prefer Sinclair to Sheridan, the first season is... erm... not that great, especially the first couple of episodes. If I ever wrote a B5 AU (swats plotcritter with a sledgehammer), it would have the pilot cast in it, with Takashima as the XO and the old doctor and Lyta Alexander and stuff. In my next incarnation, perhaps.

Am very tired now. Time for bed. One more day to survive and we'll have a long weekend. Three days without school. That's Paradise. Well, almost.

First too few reviews, now too many! I guess on ff.net, that balances out int eh end to the right number.

Tehta's only been writing in the Silmarillion fandom for about a month, but her work is very good. Right now she's in the middle of a long, rather humorous Ecthelion/Glorfindel fic, Flawed and Fair.

Oh, right, I remember that one. Erunyauve has recced it on the Edhellond list - it's hilarious.

Ff.net is working overtime, it seems. I've received nineteen copies of Tehta's reviews emailed to me and five copies of Finch'. Larian's has appeared on the review board, together with a few Voyager reviews but hasn't been emailed yet. It's almost funny. ;))

Of curse, it seems that I've mixed up the Khuzdul name of Belegost for that of Nogrod. *curses* Obviously, I've become cross-eyed for my old age.

Nineteen! I guess Tehta must have REALLY liked your story. ;-)

ff.net - an equal source of amusement and frustration.

I'm happy to see it came through - I'd given up on it. And on ff.net, too, but that's probably definite.

I've got five copies of your review so far. Tehta's count is at twenty-three by now. *g*
