Net woes

FF.Net is having fits again. I couldn't update my latest story - I've tried with direct upload and with Copy&Paste but all I got was an error message. Drat.

DW's import function is having the hiccups, too. Once again, it nicely informs me that my comments have been imported successfully - a week later they still haven't shown up. Double drat. Since the place is even deader than LJ, I only use it for safety purposes, but if the comments don't show up, what's the point?

And did I mention how much I hate Firefox's tendency to change things at random? The newest coup is that it refuses to show sites where it finds some security stuff sufficient - sites like Outlook or Google! Triple drat. And don't even let me start about its new Tab page and the new look, which I hate with the passion of a thousand burning suns.

Ugh yeah... I actually moved away last year from Firefox after having used it ever since my ancient Netscape didn't work properly anymore. But I hate what it's become. I keep hearing of Firefox rip-offs like Waterfox and such which are supposed to look like Firefox without the hassle but now I've finally gotten used to Chrome so what's the point of switching back.

I understand what you mean. I'm seriously considering returning to IE, since I don't have Chrome, but the thought of having to copy dozens if not hundreds of saved links to another browser has kept me away so far.

Don't browsers usually have the function to import all your bookmarks? I don't know if IE has it, but I hope so for you. That would indeed be a giant pain.
