This transcript (and the others) most likely has a lot of mistakes. I tried to interpret wherever the actors were mumbling, but let’s face it, I’m not a native speaker, and the automatically generated subtitles on YouTube are more a hindrance than any help. Sometimes I even had a hard time to figure out who was speaking!

So, if anyone finds really stupid mistakes, please tell me, so that I can correct them.

Philip: (on TV ad) … from biomechanical advances to the very latest in energy and environmental engineering, Prospero is the future.
Matt: (watches the ad grimly)
Philip: (on screen) We only invest in the best and the brightest, so I’m proud to have you abroad and we know you’ll be proud of Prospero.
Matt: (closes his eyes; he’s not impressed)
Jess: (speak the words with Philip) It’s the welcome for Speedy Industries, the future… (laughs) Sorry, I’ve just seen this video with every new recruit this month. Not that you’re a new recruit, you’re the boss… my boss… ah…
Matt: (almost smiles, for the first time ever, and says, gently amused) Matt is fine.
Jess: Lovely. Matt it is. Follow me.
Matt: What is working for him like?
Jess: I’ve only met him twice. I thought he’d be really scary, but he’s not at all. Hold out your wrists. (Matt obeys and she snaps on the ID bracelet) Your ID matches a reading of your skin scales (?) to gain entry, and it won’t work for anyone else if you loose it.
Matt: Cool. So Philip doesn’t keep an office here at the ARC himself, then?
Jess: No, he uses Lester’s if he props by.

Becker: (marches in) You must be Matt Anderson. (Matt nods) Welcome to the ARC.
Matt: Good to meet you.
Becker: Lester tells me you might have a problem.
Matt: We don’t really have to get into this now, but as it happens, yeah, I think the security team should be in civvies.
Becker: (is baffled) You’re… you’re ex-Army, right?
Matt: (nods) I just think the whole black things a bit conspicuous.
Becker: Conspicious. (his tone promises trouble) It promotes unity and gives my men authority in the field.
Matt: All (?) I suspect the big guns would have the same effect.
Beckett: (as if he were talking to a slow-witted kid) The uniforms promote public confidence, especially when weapons are involved. Neither Professor Cutter, nor Danny Quinn ever had a problem with them.
Matt: Well, we can talk about this again, can’t we? Why don’t you show me around?
Becker: Of course. Start with the Armoury, shall we?
Jess: (as they walk out) Good luck. He’s nice, really. (Which one, Jess?)

Gideon: (on the phone) What about anomaly research?
Matt: He’s picking up Cutter and Temple (‘s work???) It’s not clear yet. I’ve met James Lester, though.
Gideon: What did you make of him?
Matt: Light on civilities, heavy on sarcasm. He’s hard to read.
Gideon: Keep an eye on him. And the field coordinator?
Matt: She seems too young for the job, but I’m told she’s formidable when she’s got the team on an anomaly.
Gideon: What about your second-in-command?
Matt: Becker? He likes guns.
Gideon: Well, that’s all you picked up?
Matt: I mean he really likes guns. I think it’ll take him a time to accept me. He was close to Danny, Abby and Connor. I think if he was responsible for what happened…
Gideon: They show any interest in the anomalies? (It’s not clear who ‘they’ are…)
Matt: None whatsoever.
Gideon: Yes. If it’s a research pet. (actually, this makes no sense, but the subtitles are no help at all – again!) What did you tell him?
Matt: I don’t think he’s the man we’re looking for.
Gideon: Okay. (Hangs up. They both look grim, but they always do, so…)


A few comments:
This is the best summary of James Lester I've ever heard.
I presume Gideon and Matt are talking about Philip, but some of it really doesn't make sense.
It's also unclear why Matt would want to have security out of their uniforms - it's a stupid idea, really, and as we can see in the series, he couldn't push it through.
