Handmade pralines

I made them because I had leftovers from the stuff I needed for the actual cookies. So I made Green Marci pralines - the name comes from the Hungarian nickname version of Martin because the things are filled with marzipan that has been coloured green. *g*
Basically, they are leftover dates, the stones of which have been replaced with green marzipan. Then I covered them with chocolate icing and sprinkled them with coconut shards.

Since Pinterest won't allow me to use even my own photos here, I've simply linked the picture; that way even those without a Pinterest account can see the things and have a good laugh.

And very easily made! The original recipe, taken from "Weihnachtsgeschenke, selbst gemacht un verpackt", had orangeat mixed with the marzipan, but I've totally forgotten it. Doesn't matter, they will be given as gifts, since I hate marzipan anyway. *g*
