No, seriously. I can't care less whether Sandra Bullock does have cellulitis or doesn't. I can't give a flying f*ck whom Heidi Klum shags. I'm utterly disinterested in the deadly boring (un)reality shows starring 3rd grade celebrities, like Wild Girls, Jungle Camp and other crap. I don't care whether Lothar Matthäus or Dieter Bohlen get their umpteenth wife, why idiotic middle-aged celebrity women believe that their 20-year-younger partners would want anything but money and a career boost from them (Ashton Kutcher anyone) or whether Claudia Effenberg takes back that boar of a husband or not.

So, why is it that whenever I switch on the telly (unless it's the Star Trek reruns on tele5), I always have to stumble over such shit. That, and the various incarnations of deadly boring CSI and NCIS, that is. Oh, and Criminal Minds. It seems as if all channels would have formed a conspiracy against the viewers, making sure that we won't have any escape.

At least there are the zoo reports on ARD and the regional channels. Even though those are re-runs, too. Nothing new of any value is being produced in these days.

Those of you who understand German, really should look up "Kalkofes Mattscheibe - Rekalked" on youTube. The man is hysterical. Unfortunately, you need to be quite fluent in German to understand him. Expressions like "diese bildungsresistenten Silikon-Wackeleinheiten" aren't for beginners.

I saw Enterprise when it was being shown on tv here last year - it was quite fun (although all the Xindi arc plot got a bit dull).
