My birthday party was a full success, and I wanted to ask everyone who participated, contributed to the wonderful discussions and helped break last year's record.

Also, in the light of the results, I've decided to trim my friendslist again. I'll remove all the people who - while generally active on LJ otherwise - couldn't be arsed to comment on my journal for at least half a year. It's not me being angry at anyone, you understand. I just don't see any reason in following the lives of people who don't seem to have the slightest interest in mine.

If you find yourself removed, don't worry; you won't miss a lot, as I generally run a very open journal. And not getting access to my depressed whinings about personal matters or Hungarian politics won't darken your days. Everything else will remain public, as usual.

Other than that, there's not much to report. Despite my best intentions, I launched into another Torchwood fic in the "Sleeping Dragons" universe. which wil come to a grinding stop after Chapter 2, most likely, but I had to write down what little I had in my head, otherwise I'd have forgotten it. Chapter 1 is done, I'm in the process to type it up, and a couple of pages from Chapter 2 are already written. After that, I'll return to the Epic Merlin Fic(TM) and Tolkien's Dwarves.

Oh yeah, and then there's work. Lots of it. But there are worse things.

Belated happy birthday wishes! Sorry I wasn't around on LJ to send Maeglin over for you to torment. Nothing more fun at a birthday party than kicking snobbish Elven princlings! :D

Oh, don't worry about that! I imagine you had a lot to catch up with after your trip to the old continent; more urgent issues than just me getting older.

Besides, if we both live to see my next birthday, we'll have a near-impossible record to break. Have you seen this year's count? Upping that would be a true challenge, even for the Mole!
