Let's Party!

Two years ago we had great fun with this thing. So, I thought, why not give it another try?

It's called the Collapsed Threads Game, and the goal is to have so many comments that the individual threads would collapse. Deadline is October 9 (next Thursday), which is my 52nd birthday. Yes, I'm actually that old, at least on paper. *g*

Two years ago, we had 250+ comments. I aim to break the record this time. So, talk to me, ask questions, send people my way, have fun - the goal is to reach at least four pages. More were better, but four pages full of collapsed threads would be wonderful, too.

I won't have a birthday party in RL, so let's throw one in cyberspace and have a good time, eh?

Oh, and I'll bounce up the entry date each day till October 9, so that newcomers can join the party, too. The more, the merrier. *g*

Fazit:
Many heartfelt thanks to all those who came to my virtual party: those who generated interesting discussions, those who sent me virtual cake and those who just dropped by to brighten my day. I had great fun, I had inspiring discussions, and we have broken the record - thank you!

Special thanks to altariel and the_wild_iris who sent many new, lovely visitors to the party - I hope some of you will drop by from time to time later.

Thanks again, it was great fun... the best party I could have imagined.

I've been on that list for quite some years. I've never written Marcus/Neroon myself, though. To be perfectly honest, I utterly despise Marcus Cole as a character, and I don't like the actor who played him, either. But the Marcus/Neroon stuff, as delivered by the listsibs, is very charming. I love to *read* it, although I couldn't write it for the life of mine.

Are you familiar with "Delusions"? It's the archive of the list, dedicated entirely to Marcus/Neroon stories.

I've never tried to write B5 at all, but I love to read it. Marcus/Neroon is one of the most interesting pairings for me. I love pairings where different worlds (though not necessarily as literally as in this case *laughs*) and world views collide. Hm, lemme chech my bookmark list for Delusions, since I have such a horrible memory for names...

Yeah, the listsibs are nothing if not industrious. They are also a very friendly bunch of people. Actually, they are the friendliest list I've ever been on. They take in newcomers with open arms like nowhere else.

BTW, have you ever read my Birthright stories? You might like them, as they are very Tyr-centric. If you already have, then I apologize - I haven't worked on them for so long that I can't even remember who read them.

I did read "The Gathering" and loved it for all the Nietzschean goodness. I think that's Birthright 2, isn't it? I always meant to read the whole series in order, but I fell out of Andromeda fandom. I rotate the fandoms I read all the time, reading one to the exclusion of all others, then getting tired of that and switching to the next one... When Andromeda gets its turn again, I really have to remember to read Birthright.

Yeah, "The Gathering" is Birthright 2. Birthright 1 is only two chapters long and features exclusively Perseids. It was great fun to play with them. I'm still stuck with Birthright 3 - The Lady of the Lake, so you haven't missed much in any case. Only a coupe of chapters are posted to that one.
