Oh, joy...
Dec. 27th, 2022 08:23 pmToday is the feast of St. John the Evangelist, who has been my long-time favourite, ever since I rediscovered the Bible around the age of 17. Not that we'd particularly celebrate him, I just thought I'd pay my respects. *g*
Instead of any celebrations, I've made the long-overdue food run (no milk in the house, and little other than cookies anyway), plus I went to the pharmacy to fetch our medicine: Mum's eye drops and my Condrosulf, which is supposed to strengthen my cartilages. On my way back, while boarding the tram, I managed to wrench my other shoulder, heaving the heavy shopping bag in an idiotic angle. So now I have two half-functioning shoulders. Joy, joy, joy - NOT!
In crafting news, I started working on the deep sea page: I've cut out the rather complicated coral pattern I found somewhere on the 'net and begun to sew together the two layers of it. It must be two layers of hard felt, or else it would be ruined too soon when the kid keeps moving the submarine hiding behind it up and down.
We ate the leftovers from the day before yesterday, plus some yule log cake, so we are suitable stuffed and unlikely to have any supper, except a shared yogurt or whatnot. And Mum volunteered to cook tomorrow, so I'm determined to be crafty and lazy on Thursday. That's the plan. We'll see what comes out of it. *g*
