Sep. 3rd, 2006 05:25 pmBy ordering my book-case, I found my notebook with the glossary of feudal and castle terms. As I've just finished Life in a Medieval Castle by Joseph and Frances Gies (yes, after barely more than a year, I actually did), I added the glossary from the end of that book, and now I have a nice collection of old-fashioned words. It might prove useful one day.
Also, I gathered my strength to finally go through Life in a Medieval Village, by the same authors - another half-read book, very interesting, but not an easy read, as it is essentially a background source, not a novel.

Anyway, I need to start taking books with me to school again, reading in the bus and in the hours between lessons. That's helped me through quite a few books in the past.
