The arctic May continues

Yesterday afternoon we had 24 degrees. Today we had 12. Crazy, crazy weather. And miserably cold flat. I'll have to bake something again, so that at least the kitchen would warm up. We both washed our hair in the morning, and let me tell you, it wasn't really pleasant by these temperatures, despite giving the hair dryer a proper run.
Aside from actively freezing, I cooked something really simple (tomato soup from the package and cheesy noodles), started working on the sewing kit decorations and watched a bit of telly. The rest of the day was spent wrapped in warm blankets, reading and solving crossword puzzles. Oh, and taking a long nap, of course.
In the evening I talked to H. who's home from the hospital but still fairly battered. Turns out, her pacemaker also has a built-in defibrillator, therefore it's bigger and had to be set in deeper than a normal one. I didn't know that; or that such pacemakers have a shorter lifetime than normal ones. So Mum did calm down about the whole thing, since she has a normal one and can hope that it will last as long as she will.
I also typed up some random Battlestar Galactica fanfic snippets, just to have them on my HD for future use. I haven't actually written anything for weeks. This weather makes me so stupidly tired all the time. Where has Spring gone?
