... because I can't think of a subject line for my life! And that despite having had a loooong nap in the afternoon!

The morning, OTOH, was quite busy. I woke up at half past 6 and since I wouldn't have to get up 20 minutes later anyway I decided to have an early start. I took down the washing that had dried completely overnight - at least these insane temperatures are good for something - put out the clean towels, assisted Mum with her shower, washed my hair, took a shower myself and made another embroidered card.

I'm working with metallic thread at the moment, which is a pain in the backside but looks great.

Then I cooked in advance for two days,took that lovely, long nap, played Solitaire and read fanfic on Methuselah-the-laptop and typed up what I had written in the morning. So yeah, I'm content.

That blue card is beautiful. I have worked with various metallic threads over the years and it is never a pleasant experience. It twists. It knots. It sticks. It snaps. Grrrrrrr.
