Aaand forward with the tech stuff

Cousin's firstborn was here and set up my new iPad, taking the old one with him in the hope to tune it up a bit. New iPad needs a lot of getting use to; the layout is different, and it nerves me, but at least it can get connected to websites the old one no longer could. DW being one of them.

Of course, when trying to log in to LJ, I somehow made a mistake typing in my password and my IP address promptly got temporarily blocked or whatnot. I'm really pissed about that. They should have allowed at least another try, right? So for a while LJ is only available on the desktop PC.

Danny also set up quite a few more things with my new phone. Then the physiotherapist lady helped me with getting the Lidl app work; tomorrow I'll give it a heroic try, since I will have to go shopping anyway.

With all these important tech issues there wasn't really time to do anything else. I'll try typing up some more of the next chapter of Enterprise - The Maiden Voyage that I had written a few days ago, and that'll be it.

Ironically, in my household I set up the tech as my sister proclaims herself a Luddite. So I have to frantically google everything.
My sister had some hardware problem with her laptop so she went to a local young fellow who had great google reviews. But when she got there, the laptop turned on without a problem. So he suggested she take her laptop for a little drive everytime the laptop played up, and that actually worked for another twelve months!
