Well, not that new, to be completely honest. This is the long-overdue pilot to the "Sleeping Dragons" series, which I started writing 2 years ago but abandoned for reasons better left unmentioned. In any case, I dug out the finished chapters again and started posting them, in the hope that I might eventually finish it.
