End of week negativity...
May. 10th, 2020 03:56 pmOkay, I have a really nerve-wrecking week behind me. At least I hope it is behind my already. *fingers crossed*
On Monday, I've cleaned the pantry shelves, hunting for a possible moth invasion. Fortunately, I didn't find anything, but it was an exhausting morning.
On Tuesday, I had a totally useless trip, as I found the newspaper shop where I buy my German tv programme magazine and my crossword puzzles closed. No info if they've closed for good, temporarily, changed their opening order or whatnot. This was the only shop that kept these magazines that I know of. Now I have no idea how to proceed.
On Thursday I had 45 minutes of my life wasted on Vodafone about the supposed information they never mailed to me and three incompetent males of Customer Service didn't have a clue what I'm supposed to do.
On Friday I had the phone marathon with the insurance lady that left me in a basically catatonic state.
On Saturday, I got the e-mail about password change from LJ and I've been in a real state of mind ever since. Also, something around the satellite must have been acting up because my telly was unreliable all afternoon. Today it's back to normal again, so there isn't anything wrong with the receiver, but it wasn't a reassuring thing. We had strong winds this week, and my satellite dish is on top of our 10-storey building, with the cable hanging down to us (we live on the second storey), with only two fastenings, so it's always reason for concern.
Add the virus concern and my decaying teeth I don't know when will be finally treated, and you can see that I'm really no longer made for this kind of stress.
