Firstly, the baby journal for my colleague CsÉ's grandson, expected to be born in two weeks' time. Just the front cover, as the inside is basically lots of teddy bear pictures with titles like "Mummy's Little Hero", "Cuteness Alert" and the likes.

Brownie points for those who can guess what the wheels are made of!



Then the finished Kastanienwürfel aka chestnut squares:



They turned out fairly well, if I say so myself. Actually, Mum says so, too.


Also, the girl who's started learning German from scratch today is a real sweetheart. I knew she was a nice kid but I haven't expected to be quite this easy to work with her. I only hope it will last. But the colleagues who know her say that she's eager and good-natured as a rule. So far, I enjoy working with her.

Mine are all gone by now - I simply don't have the storage space I would like to have. These parts only survived because I kept them at school and now that I had to empty my workplace cupboard, I rediscovered them.

Sigh... I wish ours were all gone, but TBG has a hard time getting rid of technology, even obsolete technology.
