I've been watching old re-runs of "The Great British Bake-Off" again and felt like making some scones. Only that instead of clotted cream, which is a) extremely caloric and b) not available over here, I filled them with low-fat Vanilla-Crémequark. Here are the results:

They are a bit lopsided, the poor dears, but very yummy. And yes, the strawberry jam is home-made, too.
On less than pleasant news, my iPad is acting up again. Half an hour ago I took a photo of my scones, sent it to myself, everything OK; now all it is willing to do is to offer me to type in my personal code and then everything goes dark. It is very annoying, as I don't have the big desktop PC running all day, so the iPad is my actual link to the rest of the world. I only hope my neighbour the IT guy can do something when he comes home. I left the iPad with his mother-in-law.
