wiseheart... and I had to realize that retirement countdown and virtual birthday party don't mix well. The daily version didn't work out the first time, either, and in the years in-between the people who pushed the numbers forward and organized more virtual guests have left LJ - or me as a friend.
I must admit being a tad disappointed, but it was not entirely unexpected. So, since the retirement countdown is more important, I decided to cancel the party at this point and continue counting down the rest of my working days instead, in the hope that the lovely people who stayed with me since the beginning will continue doing so.
