My newest felt project
Jan. 30th, 2017 08:56 pmThis year, I've decided to make felt eggs for Easter: you can see some of the templates on my Easter felts board on Pinterest. Only the eggs this time, though - I hope some of the kids will be inspired, too, but if not, it's also okay.
I've cut out a number of pale green, white and dark red eggs, as well as an orange one, selected the small elements for the decoration and intend to start tomorrow. *knocks on wood*
I find that crafting calms me down considerably, which is an important factor in my field of work. Besides, creating beauty, even on a small scale, makes a better world, right?

if it's just for half an hour--working out a complicated stitch pattern is very satisfying.
