My newest felt project

This year, I've decided to make felt eggs for Easter: you can see some of the templates on my Easter felts board on Pinterest. Only the eggs this time, though - I hope some of the kids will be inspired, too, but if not, it's also okay.

I've cut out a number of pale green, white and dark red eggs, as well as an orange one, selected the small elements for the decoration and intend to start tomorrow. *knocks on wood*
I find that crafting calms me down considerably, which is an important factor in my field of work. Besides, creating beauty, even on a small scale, makes a better world, right?

A thing of beauty is a joy forever...

Those eggs are so pretty! I bet the kids will enjoy working on them. I'm with you on crafting being relaxing. I've started to crochet again in the evenings, even
if it's just for half an hour--working out a complicated stitch pattern is very satisfying.

True, even though I've started with two easier patterns, just to warm up my hands for felt work again. Tomorrow I might try something more complicated. I'll post some pictures, soon.

How cute! The little birds look very much like the felt ornament birds my mother made when I was a wee one. I'm told that I would take them off the tree and carry them off to my bed to keep them warm!

How kind-hearted of you.:)

A friend of mine did the same with a chocolate Santa - and was quite shocked that it disappeared by the morning...
