A little, only a *little* exaggerated, isn't it? Add an Elf (prefereably Legolas) and it would sound like the beginnning of a Mary Sue.
To me you seem far too strong and full of live to let yourself be floored by some broken flutter-rags. And I think you know that each mistake can - well, not be undone but atoned through sincere regret and learning.
I agree, though, to "sensitive", "caring" and the "beautiful soul". In case you feel "rejected and unloved" have a look at your fellow authoresses and kick that unworthy feeling into a dark corner. The "tainted nature" most likely refers to all the things you do to poor, helpless elfies but most of them are males and deserve no less! :)
