Virtual Birthday Party, Day 2

Day 1 of the party has been a great success: 170 comments on 2 pages so far. As agreed, I hereby kick off the second day, so that we won't lose everything like last year, should LJ crash our party again.

Threads of interest can still be commented on, but I ask you to start any new threads here from now on

Should we stay on this page?

Since today seems a bit calmer than yesterday was, I thought we could stay on this page for another day or two? What do you think? We can then switch to the new entry when we hit 100 comments and a second page, eh? No need to break the party into tiny little pieces.

I think it feels more like a party if we stay in one (virtual) room. Damn LJ for being so dodgy that one has to worry about it being deleted!

I intend to save each day to my hard drive, just in case, since DW seems unwilling to import my comments at the moment. Well, make it the last 4 frigging WEEKS! I contacted support repeatedly but nothing happened so far.

Don't remind me of YahooGroups! They're practically useless since they changed everything. I can't even access my own folder in the Files section - were the safety copies of all my writings are stored!
