There's an Estonian food blog I follow (written in English--and I was curious since my mother was Estonian). She has a lot of baked stuff, I don't bake anything more complicated than a clafoutis, but I've tried some of her other dishes, and they're excellent. In any case, she uses metric measurements and here's two chocolate chip cookie recipes. I would say the first one is typical American style, the second looks good too though:
