Inspired by the sight, badly_knitted relived some childhood memories:
I've always loved the stickiness of cooked jam in biscuits. We made some in a cookery lesson at school, forever ago, and I ate most of them before I got home. Then the cat ate the jam off half the jam tart I'd made.
