solanpolarn: Oh yes, I got quite fed-up with how Rose and Martha seemed to be defined by their romantic love/crush for/on the Doctor. I had such high hopes for Martha too, because in her first episode she was a well-educated, though and smart young professional woman and that could have been such a good character to have the Doctor bounce off of.
