wiseheart: Sooo, my goodies for the celebration are baked. I'll only have to glue the Ischler cookies together with red currant jam and cover them with chocolate icing tomorrow. The vanilla-almond crescents turned out very well - which isn't almost the case. With such a simple recipe, a surprising amount of things can go wrong. Not this time, though. So I'm content.
