1) Nougatkipferln
2) Maronistangerln
3) Kokoskipferln - neu!
4) Feine Weihnachtskekse (im Grunde genommen Vanillekränzchen)
5) Wiener Stangerln
6) Demel-Sterne
7) Schwarz-Weiß-Gebäck
8) Haselnußplätzchen
9) Schoko-Kekse
10)Nuß-Sternchen - neu!
11)Vanillekipferln
12Todán fánk
13)Schokoladensterne
14)Zimtsterne
15)Orangenherzen
16)Butter-Kokos-Plätzchen
17)Knusperhäuschen für den Nikolaustag
18)Husarenkrapferln
19)Schoko-Mandel-Makronen - neu!
20)Dominosteine
21)Walnuß-Plätzchen
22)Zipfelmützen mit Baiserhaube
23)Zitronenherzen
24)Orangentalern
25)Spitzbuben

Wow that sounds like a lot of cookies and like they will all be very tasty! :)
(I used google translate - it managed most of the surrounding text, but not all the names - unsurprisingly)

Yeah, sorry for the German, but I simply lack the baking vocabulary in English.

They're very tasty indeed. And they solve the Christmas gift problem: I simply give a small collection to the people I want to give a gift. It's better than anything else: it's delicious, and it's gone after a while, instead collecting dust on some shelf.

It's your journal - you can post in whatever language you like :)
I was commenting on it in case I'd got into a mess with google translate and didn't understand :)

Very clever solution to the gift problem :)

I'm sneaky that way. ;)

I wish I could send you some, but they won't survive the journey.

There is a Swedish tradition of "sju sorters kakor", which literally means "seven sorts of biscuits/cakes" which means that you 'should' be able to offer guests seven different sorts of sweet baked goods. (We have the same word for cake and biscuit.) Most people these days (and probably throughout most of history as well) don't have seven sorts, but you are going so far beyond that I will be immensely impressed if you manage half of your plan. There is a sort of nice symmetry though to the plan of having 25 different sorts of biscuits for Christmas, that pleases the science geek in me. Best of luck and enjoy both the baking and the results!

Thanks. :) I wish I could send you some, but I'm afraid they wouldn't survive the long journey in any respectable shape.

I always bake at least 10-plus sorts for Christmas. There was a year when I baked as many as 30 different kinds, if I'm not mistaken: very small amounts of each, of course, but still. However, half of those didn't turn out all that good, so I dropped them. Now I usually bake the same sorts each year, adding one or two new versions, experimentally.
