True Blood, is that the Sookie Stackhouse show? Yep. And it really was awfully cheesy. What's worse, it was awfully boring, too.
Blood Ties was actually quite good. It was the one with Henry Fitzroy (an actual historic person, illegitimate son of the notorius Henry VIII who, in truth, died shortly before being declared heir or somesuch) and the PI ex-cop lady with the night blindness. I liked that one; the vampire character was wonderfully ambigious, even though it was basically a supernatural cop show.
