*g* Continuity is one of the things that I look for in shows etc - I want things to make sense and for the show to pick up things from earlier and allow the characters to develop. Possibly this is one of the reasons that there are so few tv shows that I actually love.
As for nuances, sure, I love shades of grey. But I've resigned myself to only the very rare show giving me the shades of grey I need to be happy *sigh* Totally agree!
