A Moment of Narcistic Self-Admiration

wiseheartWe went to the annual German theatre festival with the kids today. Both pieces I've written and co-worked on the direction won in their category (11-12 and 13-14 years old, respectively). One was a weird little thing called "The Cat's to Blame for Everything", the second one an incredibly silly Snow White parody, in which she terrorizes the Dwarves until they run away. Jury and audience laughed themselves silly. The kids spoke German very well, so I'm really proud.
Of course, that mean we got into the next level and have to sacrifice our Saturday on Feburary 6, but I'm still very happy.
