It has stopped to e-mail reviews to me. And that while I've got Review Alerts enabled and bot@fanfiction.com added to my Conctacts list at Hotmail. Is very annyoing. I get so very few reviews as it is, and if FF.Net keeps eat them, it's really, really mean.

Edit: It turns out that Aislynn is a genius, after all. I did some more digging within Hotmail, and figured out that somehow FF.Net managed to get onto the blocked senders list. How, I have no idea. I haven't blocked anyone for years. Ah, well, FF.Net unblocked, the reviews can come... although I don't have very high hopes.

How on earth do you manage?!? I admire you for it.

When I'm in great stress, writing is an outlet that keeps me sane. Sometimes, like right now, I simply force myself to sit down and get through half-written chapters and finish them, no matter what. I'm certainly not doing it for the feedback that never comes. Well, almost never. Dís is keeping me from starving completely in these days, the dear girl. Well, at least I didn't get any nasty grammar-related remarks, either.

We'll be spending a few days in a cottage, talking Tolkien and exploring not only the surrounding area, which is a wonderful nature reserve, but also the pub in the next village.

I envy you so much! I never had the chance to discuss Tolkien with anyone since I learned about the existence of the fandom. I'd so love to do it, but, well...

Have you ever noticed any relation between stress and the nature of what you write?

Sometimes, yeah. When I was younger, definitely. Tend to write more angst, smut and gore in these times, albeit less so in thse days.

Yeah. Never met other Tolkien-fans myself until 20 years after I first read LOTR. The internet has given us a unique chance to find like-minded people. I think the other participants are more into fandom than I, but it'll be fun, being able to talk about your hobby without people looking at you a bit funny.

Therapeutic. Hmm, makes sense. Good for you that you're able to do that.

Oh good!
