wiseheartPawns and Symbols, a little character piece of a very young Prince Imrahil of Dol Amroth, has been posted to ff.net. This is a story I've been developed together with Isabeau of Greenlea, who graciously did the beta reading and even wrote a heartbreaking epilogue to the story.
We keep using each other's characters, Isabeau and I, and it's great fun. She's borrowed my version of Gildor, Erestor and Lindir, while I've borrowed her OCs, Lady Tirathiel and Master Andrahar. There's also an enigmatic OC of mine called Melpomaen, born from the insane urge to write the famous Figwit as a non-Elven character. I don't believe his fans would recognize him, though.
There's a lot of cultural background about how I imagine Harad. It's based on the culture of the ancient Turkish people of Middle-Asia, with whom my ancestors had lived before they came to our current home. My visual of Andrahar is Mártom Csókás in the Triple X-movie, though Isabeau means he's too fair-skinned for a HAradrim. We agreed to disagree in this matter. :)) I wish I could put here the wonderful photomanip Archet made of him for this story.
