Summer plans

So, now it's official. We're going to Stockholm this summer, in late July. We've been to the travel agency today, booked the journey and paid half the money. It's not exactly cheap, and it involves flying, which for me, is Teh Evil, but we've been wanting to go to Scandinavia for so long, and the programme seems interesting.

Not to mention that I might get the chance to meet Dís in person, which would be terrific. Another one from Edhellond, after earonn, altariel, the_wild_iris and edge_of_ruin! Yay! It means a lot to me, since I live under a rock and have so little chance to meet anyone I've got to know in cyberspace.

Will try to post the rest of the Slovenian and perhaps some of the French picspam before I got more pictures to share, though...

Glad to hear it, Soledad, and that you get to meet Dís! I hope you'll have a nice time in Stockholm.

But you're right about 'not exactly cheap' - Scandinavia is an expensive place to visit, compared to most places. Wages are very high and of course this reflects in the costs of almost everything.

btw, my pic was taken in Sweden although in the Western part, far from Stockholm.

Stockholm is very nice. From the couple of times I've visited, the thing that sticks in mind is seeing the Vasa. It is an old ship that sank on its maiden voyage and has since been recovered and is very impressive. It is definitely worth going to see if you get a chance.

Hopefully I'll get to meet you at some point as well, especially as I want to visit Budapest sometime. However, that will have to wait until at least one me and Sam have a proper job.
