I'm just tired of things that go wrong all the time.

Like the rather insignificant fact that my new Norton now tells me every time I switch on my browser that it controls websites that might be cheating... whatever it means. It takes away half an inch from my useful sceen space, and as a result, I can't see the entire Mahjongg board anymore.

I hope it can be hidden or switched off somehow, but I'll have to wait for new computer expert guy to show up, because I'm a total failure when it comes to technology.

Or that my damned new digital satellite receiver still doesn't work. Three times the maintenance guys have been here, and they will come at least another three times, I fear.

The thing has cost me an ungodly amount of money that I could have used for a number of other (equally necessary) purposes. I wouldn't say a word if it worked. Only it does not. Plus, the whole disaster has already cost me one of my rare free afternoons, when I wanted to do a number of things I don't have the time to do on other days.

I really don't want such big things from life. But when not even the small things are willing to cooperate, it's really depressing.

Actually, I'd suggest uninstalling Norton completely and downloading two other just as good antivirus and firewall:

AVG Personal Antivirus
Windows Defender (for firewall)

They don't screw up the computer as badly as Norton seems to do...

Norton doesn't screw up my computer. It just adds a "helpful" headline about certain protections working, which takes away screen space, that's all. And I've paid too much for it to just uninstall it.
