Perfect timing - not!

Am sick like a dog again. Have been for four days already... barking like an asthmatic dog, no sleep all night because of said barking, being dim-witted from the lack of sleep all day.

Why couldn't it happen during school time? I so hoped that I would come to a little rest during these holidays, but with no sleep, it's kinda hard to achieve.

Well, at least is spared me the trip to the cemetery so far. Even Mum agrees that leaving the flat isn't an issue right now. I still hate it, though.

True. The timing annoys the hell out of me. I've so hoped that I'd get to places other than school during the holidays. You know, such exotic places like the English bookstore, that is, unfortunately, in a far-away corner of the city, so that I just can't manage to get there during working days. But noooo, I had to "celebrate" with being sick - again!
