I must be insane
Jan. 24th, 2007 04:22 pmOr, to repeat Dr. McKay's elegant phrase, a certifiable whackjob. Yes, I've signed up to the Zelenka ficathon at
fic4radek. As if I didn't have enough unfinished WIPs. Well, the advantage of a ficathon is that they want finished stories. And Zelenka is adorable.
Also, I joined the
notshep comm. It's a small one, but we few people who despise Sheppard need a place, too. Not much going on, actually. But since my Atlantis fic isn't very Sheppard-friendly (to put it mildly), perhaps I'll find people who actually would like it.
Oh, and I joined
andromedafix, too. Found a few excellent stories. Might later add them to my fic rec page, once they are finished. So, it's mostly sci-fi time nowadays. Since 2007's first piece of so-called concrit (read: bitching without reason) killed off any indication I might have felt towards writing Tolkienfic for a while, I need greener pastures.
Oh, and by the way,

Yeah, I know it's stupid that I'm so upset about it. But I spend a great amount of time doing proper research, and such half-arsed "expertise" angers me a lot more than the fact that they found the story itself boring. That's a matter of taste, and I know I overdo the background trivia sometimes, so I can understand that some people do find it boring.
