Okay, I'm a bit early, but I still have things to do, so I thought I'd make this entry as long as I can.

So, the party opener. Actually, it was [livejournal.com profile] larian who's found it for me yesterday, when I took this test..

It tells me I should overcome my secret fear of Elves. *g*

Suggestions how to do it are readily accepted. Other than that, bring on your comments, your jokes, your funny stories, and let's see if we can collaps the threads again.

A HAPPY 2007 TO EVERYONE!!!

I wanted the above to be red or of sparky colours, but I don't know how to do that. *is grumpy about own stupidity*

Er, short of jokes & funny stories (it's been one of those years) but I hope 2007 brings you everything that you could possibly desire. Oh, and I got...

In 2007, espresso_addict resolves to...
Become a better cuillin.
Find a better gender.
Put fifty crossovers a month into my savings account.
Go writing three times a week.
Admit my true feelings to aliverpoolfc.
Volunteer to spend time with scottish highlands.
Get your own New Year's Resolutions:

which is uncannily appropriate.

Well, fifty crossovers a month is a bit overdoing things... although I shouldn't speak, I have to manage fifty desert warriors. *g*

Soletimes it's eerie how these memes hit the target out of the blue, isn't it?

Well, my endlessly ongoing novel(TM) is a crossover, so "bank 50 crossover pages a month" would be a plausible aim. I've been trying to come up with some writing aims for 2007 for the ongoing [livejournal.com profile] picowrimo but I've not come up with anything I feel I can stick to yet. What are your writing aims for next year?

Now tucking into luxury stollen & mulled wine whilst [livejournal.com profile] aliverpoolfc (my OH) downloads some nice files for me :)

God, I have so many unfinished projects it's not even funny! In at least eleven (!) different fandoms. But the ones most likely to be done something about are:

1) "Emissary of the Mark" - a pre-LOTR Rohan fic, featuring Elfhelm and his adventures in RhĂșn;

2) "The Joy Machine", the second part of my original Trek/original BSG crossover series;

3) "The Toreador Chronicles", which is a crossover between several vampire-related fandoms (Angel, Buffy, Kindred and Poltergeist - The Legacy) and the US-version of Queer As Folk.

The first two are practically written in Hungarian already, just need to be translated and - in the case of Emissary - adapted to the fandom. The third one is pretty much planned out and 2/3 of it written and posted already, so it has some meagre chance to be finished in 2007.

Wow -- that's quite an ambitious collection of projects! I am in awe at the ease with which you write!

PS On the colour thing... Happy New Year! (substituting < for [ of course) seems to work, though the default red is a bit meh.

Well, to be honest, it doesn't seem that easy when I'm struggling with the current story. If it were so easy, I wouldn't have several dozen unfinished stories.

Thanks for the help with te colour thing - meh red is still better than graveyard black.*g*

It's interesting, no-one ever seems to find writing the current project easy...

Well, it is never easy, actually. The whole thing always looks - and sounds - a lot better when it's in your head than written on paper or viewscreen.
