So, has it happened to you that you are - theoretically - on someone's friendslist and still don't show up on their radar? For very long stretches of time?

Cyberlife has the strange habit to follow the patterns of real life. If so, where is the achievement? What is the point?

Because, you know, being tolerated - yet unwanted - is just not enough on the long run.

I agree with [livejournal.com profile] espresso_addicts summary and I think my major problem when reading about your emotions is that I cannot respond adequately (or at least I feel I cannot), even if I want to :)

Since when do you belong to the people I haven't heard from for months, little one? I always know you are here.

Besides, most of those people on my flist are personal friends. Or at least I thought they were. I don't befriend anyone lightly - trust issues, you know. And in this context, yes, I do find it a bit disturbing that while they are more or less active on LJ, our connection remains one-sided.
