Disconnected stuff

wiseheartI watched "The Brotherhood of the Wolf" today. While it isn't a good movie, paradoxically, it's still a great one: visually suggestive and highly disturbing. I'm not sure I liked it, but it wasn't something I'm gonna forget soon.
Tomorrow, the celebrities about my semi-centenary existence start. With other words: we'll get the first guests. I already made my dumbed-down version of triffle (it's still good), and tomorrow, I'll cook a dish called Sauerbraten in German. Sorry, don't know what the English equivalent would be, but it's great food (and requires little work, hehehe). I'm actually looking forward to cook something proper again.
Elections are coming up on Sunday. Pray for us.
Visitors from our German partner school are also coming tomorrow. They'll be by their host families durign the weekend, but next week will be brutal. And while it'll be great to speak proper German again, before I completely forget how to do it, I'm living in dread of the program. It'll be very tiring. I so wish just a short time when we could recover from the last portion of stress before we head the next one, but I'm being naive, I guess.
Added about a hundred links to my Teleki Blanka Yahoo Group, which is practically my storage place. I hope I can finish before the next computer crash. I'm sick and tired of hunting down my favourite bookmarks all over again every time something happens to my PC.
Did a lot of Original Galactica research. It was fun, even though I don't really intend to write any purely Galactica fanfic any time soon. But background trivia can be helpful with the "Lost Years" series.
I'm thinking of putting together a "wish list", concerning books and DVDs, mainly. That way, if someone feels like giving me a gift, at least they'd know what to pick from. And since I'm a great fan of cheap, second-hand paperbacks...
All right, off with me to bed. I'm dead on my feet, and the weekend promises to be... action-rich, since we're gonna clean the frigging flat, too. Hard to believe that it's once again time to be house slave.
