I've finished Chapter One of my new original BSG/original Trek story, which is now posted to the
otherworlds_lib comm in its entirety, in case anyone wants to see, and will try to return to my previous WIP, "EMV 3 — Hunter, Prey". If I can. We'll see whether I manage to throw the switch in my head or not. It would be nice if I could at least finish the pending chapter during this pico session.
Crafting-wise I've sewn together the parts of the Santa-shaped pencil holder. All that is left is the face, and then I can glue it onto the tin can that had previously housed the green peas. *g*
I also did the grocery shopping in the morning, made a mushroom Pörölt and mashed potatoes for lunch and talked to my friends, Evie and Elise on the phone. Evie is very happy; she's found a good car mechanic, so her old Peugeot doesn't have to be crapped, after all, which is a double win: she doesn't have to sell an arm to buy a new car, and she doesn't have to learn how to use a new car. I'm very happy for her. I hate to get used to new tech, too.
