Tired old hags
Oct. 6th, 2022 06:02 pmMeaning Mum and myself. She's had two bad nights - mostly because of aching joints and difficulties to fall asleep - and I had to got out early today because Aldi had several things on sale I didn't want to miss (bananas, for one).
Then I had to go to the post office and to the bank, which was tedious and got home around noon. Needless to say that I wasn't good for much else for the rest of the day, so we ate leftover soup and some cheesy buns for lunch and basically vegetated all afternoon. The weather is about to turn clouded again, which doesn't help with being more awake, but that's okay. There are worse things than being sleepy. If only changes in the weather wouldn't make her joints ache more!
