Meaning Mum and myself. She's had two bad nights - mostly because of aching joints and difficulties to fall asleep - and I had to got out early today because Aldi had several things on sale I didn't want to miss (bananas, for one).

Then I had to go to the post office and to the bank, which was tedious and got home around noon. Needless to say that I wasn't good for much else for the rest of the day, so we ate leftover soup and some cheesy buns for lunch and basically vegetated all afternoon. The weather is about to turn clouded again, which doesn't help with being more awake, but that's okay. There are worse things than being sleepy. If only changes in the weather wouldn't make her joints ache more!

I'm so fed up with being so ausgelaugt all the time. My Grandma would disown me, could she see me now. Well, she most likely can, from the other side of the Great Barriere, but that's a different situation. ;)

Ouch, that is miserable. Hope you both have better days (nights).

Soup and cheesy buns sounds like a very nice lunch. I have arthritis inflammation in just one joint of one finger, and I know how ouchy that can be, so your mum must be really uncomfortable, poor lady. I hope you both get a better night's sleep tonight.

She bears her near constant pain so bravely! In the — thankfully rare — cases she was in hospital, the personnel was always amazed by how self-disciplined she was. Most patients (and not just the old ones) where a lot whinier and more demanding.

The weather can be cruel on arthriticky bones, I know that too well. I hope you both get better sleep soon!

Thanks. For me, going to bed earlier would probably do the trick, but I've been a night owl all my life.

I hope the weather stops roller-coasting soon and that her pain gets better.

Then I will keep my fingers crossed for warm and sunny weather! Besides, sunny weather is also good for emotional well-being!

Well, poor Mum has eye problems as well and too much sun isn't good for them either, but a little bit warmer and moderately sunny would be nice indeed.

You will have to buy her some stylish sunglasses! She surely needs more vitamin D, it´s good for old people!

I like having visitors in my home, and at the same time, dislike it. It's so peaceful when they're gone.
