Got up early to be able to take a shower before the water would be turned off. Helped Mum with her morning obulations. Cooked tomato soup and mashed potatoes while temperatures were still relatively low.

Then I attacked the next batch of my Christmas felts: the shepherd and his sheep. I was quite industrious, too: one shepherd is completely done, the 9 others have their headband, their beard and their sheep sewn on. Tomorrow I'm planning to do the staffs and the sheep heads, and the day after the hanging and the complete stitching together. *fingers crossed*

In the afternoon we had a visit from the physiotherapist lady. While she worked with Mum, I switched on the oven to give this recipe a try, as zucchinis were reduced in price last time I made a food run.

Well... the things are yummy, but in my oven they'll definitely need a much longer cooking time. Also, I might have to slice them thinner. But all in all, a good recipe.

Afterwards, I talked to Adrienne on the phone, solved some crossword puzzles and even managed to write a little. I might die from sleep deprivation before the Week of Woes is over, but the roughly two hours I have to get up earlier with each day definitely help with my workload.
