Tying up lose threads
Apr. 27th, 2019 08:29 pmI had a lazy day. Not because I wanted one but because I had so little energy it wasn't even funny. I don't know why. But at least I tied up some lose threads, aka finished a few overdue things. That's more than nothing.
Firstly, I forced myself to make the last double page of the pink section of Baby Emma's journal. The one I overlooked yesterday. I'm not quite as happy with it as I was with the other ones, but it will have to do. Look for yourselves:

Then I finished Chapter 26 to Kansas 2. Again, not exactly what I hoped for, but it's acceptable. One more chapter and - of things go by plan, I'll reach the middle of the dratted story. I might have to write something very different and very short at that point before I run into another nine-year-block.
Then I cooked lunch, which, again, didn't turn out as planned, but it was edible. Even if it upset Mum's stomach a bit. Perhaps tomato soup and cauliflowers with carbonara sauce where I used sour cream instead of normal cream (because that was the only thing we had in the fridge) was a bit much for her. She's better now, though.
Then I wasted the entire afternoon in front of the telly, although I originally planned to type up at least part of my finished chapter. I just couldn't bring up the energy. And now I feel guilty. *sigh*
