Feeding my addiction
Aug. 1st, 2018 06:53 pmSince I haven't left the flat for two days, I decided that going to town would be the right thing to do. Especially visiting craft shops and the likes. So, off I marched, and in 2.5 hours I managed to spend an obscene amount of money on craft papers, acrylic pens and so on. I'm feeling slightly guilty about it, but as I always say, I don't drink, don't smoke, don't pick up random women (unlike males my age) and have no interest in horse racing, so I need a bad habit, too.
Besides, the papers are incredibly beautiful. And I found the right-shaped pine cone for my unfinished box in one of the shops, so it was necessary to go, right? I didn't want to use something picked up from under a tree, because of the possibility of woodworms, and these things in the shops are already sterilized or whatever it is called. So, I invested the equivalent of an ice cream in the pine cone and am content with the solution.
I didn't do much else in the afternoon, save for watching telly and talking to my colleagues on the phone because it was sooo bloody hot. But now we could open all the windows again and it is actually fairly pleasant in our 53 square metres of concrete.
Tomorrow there will be creative times again!
