The events of the day

We finally managed to put down the Christmas tree. Arrgh. Was about time. I love decorating the thing - my only vaguely artistic talent - but putting it down is awful. My hands feel like pincushions, and I have swollen feet from standing and stretching for half the morning. But it was an eventful day even beyond that.

And that's about it. I'm going to watch The Ghost of Canterville (if that's the English title) on German TV tonight. The ever-wonderful Patrick Stewart plays the title role, and I watch about everything he plays in.
